Cue the oohs and ahhs. We have taken Barbados entertainment to new heights at our Beach Extravaganza and Dinner Show. Our premium drinks and food-inclusive event features stilt walkers, steel pan music, daring fire eaters, Kadooment dancers, and the pulsating beats of our three live bands. Get your feet in the sand and your waistline moving as you dance along to sweet island rhythms. Our comical mother, Sally, will be right by your side to show you how it’s done.

Steel Pan

Created in the 21st century, this instrument drenches the air with rhythmic sounds from what was just a basic oil and steel drum. Our musical maestros are backed by an amazing band. This popular musical ensemble brings the stage to life and will get you in the mood to party!

Tuk Band

Get on your feet when the Tuk band starts to play! This groovy, interactive trio is a crowd-engaging favourite at the Harbour Lights Dinner Show. The Tuk Band is steeped in cultural Barbadian history and is often accompanied by 'Mother Sally,' Stilt Walkers and the Shaggy Bears. Led by one of the most experienced entertainers in Barbados, the sweet sounds of the penny whistle, kettle, and bass drum is an authentic delight.

Mother Sally

Come dance with 'Mother Sally’ at our epic Beach Extravaganza and Dinner Show! Mother Sally will have you mesmerised with her rhythmic grandeur and, her over-extended back end! She represents the fertility of mother Africa and her “movementations” will leave you spellbound. Expect a full dance routine with lots of Bajan rhythms and a look back at the history of Barbados dance. This well-loved Barbadian character will make you laugh and get on the dance floor!

Fire Eater

This iconic art of fire-eating leaves you mesmerised and simply wanting more. Flames, heat, and a jaw-dropping spectacle await as our talented Barbadian fire eater prepares to wow you. Get front-row seats to iconic fire breathing, where the performer creates a fireball—the perfect time to capture a majestic moment!

Kadooment Dancers

Adorned with an array of vibrant feathers and mesmerising diamantés, our skilled Kadooment beauties will give you a live demonstration of how to wine like a true local! Witness their talent and big personalities through amazing dance routines throughout the night. Get ready to jump in and “shake ya tail feather” if one of these talented beauties picks you as a partner.

Stilt Walker

Referred to as the giants of Harbour Lights, these agile entertainers stand over 10 feet in the air. In the past, stiltmen, also known as moko jumbies in some Caribbean islands, were used to watch over the villages to foresee any danger ahead because of their towering height.

Bajan Style BBQ Dinner

Our delectable menu will leave you wanting more. When the grill fires up, feast on your choice of BBQ steak, grilled chicken, shrimp kebabs, or pan-seared steak fish. Served alongside macaroni pie, calypso rice, roasted potatoes, black bean and corn salad, a medley of steamed vegetables, garlic bread, and garden salad. We offer vegetarian options and some gluten-free options as well. Top off a delicious meal with rich chocolate brownies and ice cream.

A Drinks Inclusive Experience

As part of our exclusive drinks-inclusive experience, you will indulge in a delightful array of beverages to enhance your night. Sip on tropical Piña Coladas and refreshing Daiquiris, savour the crispness of ice-cold Banks beer, and enjoy the smoothness of vodka and gin. Don’t forget to taste our beloved Mount Gay rum, a true Barbadian treasure. For those preferring a non-alcoholic option, we also offer a selection of soft drinks.

Shuttle transfers are included to and from hotels and villas on both the South and West coasts of Barbados!

The turtle & shipwreck tour at Carlisle Bay out of Harbour Lights was a great experience. Super cheap and it lasted about an hour. It’s a 5 minute boat ride to both sites right off the beach. Weather was perfect and the water was clear. Staff was great and even though we only saw one turtle and one stingray, we had an awesome time. There were thousands of fish at the shipwreck and nice, healthy corals.

They offer a beach experience that can be enjoyed as an excursion from the cruise ships or just show up on your own. It’s like a private beach club where you pay a fee, not much, that gets you in and access to a great beach that patrolled and kept clean, a beach chair and umbrella, there’s a bar and grill and you also can utilize the change rooms and bathrooms. Good friendly personnel make for a good experience.

I visited Harbour Lights in December 2019 from a Cruise Ship. We purchased 4 of the $20 beach chair/umbrella/turtle snorkel combo tickets approximately one month in advance of our visit. Our chairs and umbrellas were clean and in excellent condition. The water was quite crowded with boats and swimmers, but we were fortunate to see several turtles up close. When it was time to go, the staff was helpful in assisting us get a taxi back to port. The water and the beach were both beautiful.

We were on Carnival Fascination in January 2020 and pre-booked this excursion. It was wonderful. We took a taxi from port, at $5.00 per person each way. Arrived at the beach, were escorted to our reserved lounge chairs and umbrellas, able to swim as long as we wanted. Great fun for everyone!!!
